I want to set my spoilers up on separate channels and link elevator deflection as the spoilers move up. This is in a RES. I'd like to use a slider to do this. When I ask Futaba I get more questions and no answer. Am I stuck with using a "Y" harness and the throttle stick? I want to be able to adjust end points for each spoiler servo. The servos are located in one each in the spoiler bays.

Think P-mixes.

The 'standard' way to do spoilers with elevator compensation would be to use the 'Butterfly' mix menu (your servos are attached to spoilers instead of flaps, but the radio doesn't need to know that.) This method would use the 'throttle' stick for actuation. If you want it on a slider, you need to set up P-mixes.

If you are only using one channel for the spoilers, you can just set it to channel 5 or higher and then assign that channel to one of the sliders. Then make a programmable mix to mix elevator into the spoiler. I am using a slider on my Spirit but I have only 1 spoiler servo and no mixing.

I have my Spirit set up with wing servos for the spoilers. I programmed them as if they were flaps in the 9C and set- up flap/elevator mix. I have them on the left hand slider. Works great!

Use the FLAP2 set-up for two flap servos.

You could also use the crow/butterfly and use the throttle/airbreak sitck. Either way works just fine.

I think you can do it on a dial too, but I prefer sliders and levers to dials for surface controls.

Love that 9C!
