I am trying to ID a part number for the motor output transistor on a Hobbyzone/Parkzone integrated receiver/speed control used in the F-27 stryker. The best I can tell it was a manufacturer with a lower case "f " then the number s0129 or 80129 or 50129n Next below it is FDD then below that is 50N--- maybe 001.
Thanks
Tom

The "f" is probably the Fairchild logo.
FDD is the prefix for some mosfets from Fairchild.
I don't think the 80129 is part of the part number.
You can look at Fairchilds web site here http://www.fairchildsemi.com/

Thanks DK. Thats getting me pretty close. There are only about 6 power fets with that designation. The only strange thing is none of the packaging available is correct for my device. Thanks again, its pointed me in the right direction.

If this is the motor drive FET (follow the tracks to one side of the motor wire) then you probably don't need to get an original part. I say this with some caution because you will need to compare pinouts etc that any logic level N-channel FET of On resistance of better than .007 will work. That should make the availability easier. I've mucked around with quite a few different brand N-ch power FETs, thus far they have all had the same pinout making changing over for testing easy.

My favorites for S400 class ESC's have been

IRL3803
SPP80N03
FDP7030L

This may help if your orignal part is hard to get.

Have a look at the 512-FDP6035L on mouser.com. That is the MOSFET in my HobbyZone Rx. 58 amps, .01 ohms

Thanks guys. I'm all set. I appreciate the help. Dkselw ,PLMS ,Mr.RC-CAM, your the best. I have never ordered from Mouser but I see there is no minimum purchase. That would be wonderful for these one-sees part orders. I will have to see what shipping costs looks like.
