Hello,
I live in DC suburbs and temp outside is changing hourly I took my
T-maxx to local shop to have it tuned and it still only runs for 5
minutes then stalls I wait 5 min and the same thing happens guy at the
local shp says it is because of the outside temp. How do I adjust it
so I can play with my new truck? any help would be appreciated
(remember I am new)

Is fuel foaming from inside the fuel tank @ half a tank.

You may need to lengthen t-maxx's fuel pressure line.

In my experience this is a common issue.

Replace the pressure line with a new hose (same thing as fuel line) I
recommend starting out with at least 20" of fuel line. Probably solve your
problem right off the bat

For optimum power you may need to shorten the pressure line a bit - what I
do is this - 1st I replace the pressure feed line with at least 20". Next
I'll fill the tank to just less than half full.

Next I'll run the engine hard - basic off road track - I check the fuel tank
for foam at the end each lap. If no foam, I'll cut a 1/2" off the pressure
line re-fill the tank just less than half full. Do this over and over again
until I see foaming. Then I'll replace with a new line. Should be exactly
the same length + 1"

I hope this helps
Regards
Bill

This is a common problem if the engine is a little lean on the high speed
needle. This causes the engine to overheat and stop. It is also exacerbated
by the way T-Maxx's (and lots of other trucks for that matter) tend to lean
out slightly as the tank gets down to half full or so.

So, a very simple thing to try would be to open the HSN a bit - I wouldn't
muck about I'd open it say a quarter turn - you can always put it back again
if this doesn't work.

Temps will affect tuning, but will likely not cause the symptoms you
are reporting.

Tuning at half-tank will help allevite the leaning-out issues.

One way to diagnose whether it is time- or fuel-level-related is to
top off the tank every 2 mins or so. If it still dies at 5 mins
runtime it's heat, tuning, damage, etc.. If it will run forever on a
full tank I'd suspect low fuel pressure (cracked tank, air leak, etc).
