Any comments on this truck. $249 seem like a good deal with all that comes
standard.

I assume you mean Duratrax. I've never run one, but I tuned one for a
guy I was bashing with. Seemed to be decent for the $$$.
Some people unkindly refer to them as DuraTrash, but I think that
underestimates the kind of forces an entry-level line owned by
the 500lb gorilla in the industry (GreatPlanes/Tower/Hobbyco/whatever).
I'd watch for Duratrax to compete well with HPI and Traxxas lines.

those seem like a really great truck, i haven't dealt with one yet but i
wouldn't hesitate to get one. very nice features for the price. if you pay
just a little more at $270 you could get an associated rc10gt wich is proven
to be an awsome truck. everyone uses the rc10gt in competitions and is a
great back yard basher too. either truck won't disappoint you though. the gt
has a .15 and the evader has a .18.....its up to you. the evader is good
truck from what i hear.

I agree on both counts. I was looking at the evader and the only reason
I didn't get one is because I got a super deal on a rc10gt wich was well
used but with only minor maint has treated me quite well. Parts for both are
easy to come by in my area anyway(seattle).
rc10gt is a little more proven but the evander is a little more bang for
the buck. Both good picks.
