View Full Version : Narrow Boat Kit?

Hi,
a friend of mine currently builds radio controlled planes from kits
and plans (as do I) and would like to make the step into boats (given
how poor the weather has been the last year, there will be a lot of
water around). They have an interest in narrow boats and I was
wondering whether you know of any narrow boat kits that can be built
up? They think a kit would be best, rather than plan-work. A
GRP/Plastic hull would be great but they would like to have a
reasonable amount work on the top half.
Do any of you know of any UK/online shops that would sell a kit like
this?

Any ideas/suggestions gratefully received,
Gareth

you could give this web site a look
www.riversidemodels.co.uk
I looked at there stand at the Great Yarmouth model boat show and it looks
like they make just what you are looking for. as an x plane modeller forget
build light think heavy it may save loads of lead ballast.
have fun :)
