Is there alot of drag from where our motor is located or any thing else that should be improved. If you add mass to reduce drag is that good?

Is there a mass to watts conversion, and if so would it give you the minimum amout of power needed to stay up at a specific altitude or is there to many other veriables.

First you link vortex with lift along the wing for best destribution. It is a complex design problem.

It has been truely quipped that," An aircraft is a set of compromizes flying in formation." It has also been said, of aircraft design, with only slight exageration, that,"Everything affects everything else."
Again, for you to study.

I just got that book a few days ago and on p.16 in the drag formula it had a fancy p and I am wondering what that represents.

Greek (p) is rho.
p = The density of the fluid measured in kg/m^3.
