Here is the first one I'd like to share: fly at high alpha until your forward speed is reduced to zero. Have fun and be sure you have enough altitude!
Here is another and assumes your thrust to weight ratio is less than 1: go full throttle, then slam elevator until you are vertical. Again, have fun and be sure you have enough altitude!
Finally: loop!
The above are for rudder/elevator/throttle autogyros. I have no idea how these will work out in autogyros with articulated rotor heards. And if you are crazy enough to try, please tell everyone here about it.

Thanks nolasco,
One of my favorites is to go into a high alfa, go vertical, do a stall turn, keep the throttle low (1/6-1/4), but keep the rudder pegged and you can get the gyro to fly sideways-its really fun.

Ok... this ones not exactly done witha gyro but its along the same premis. Flying a heli get tons of altitude, flip it inverted, give it full negitive collective then kill the engine. in a few seconds the head will completely stop and the heli will free fall nose down drop the collective to nutral for a few seconds to scare yourself then slowly apply a little negitive again to start spooling up the head. finally pull out into a normal dead stick auto. after landing if you can count the number of pices on only one hand give yourself a pat on the back.
I've practiced this plenty on G2 wondering if it was even possible in reality. Then just the other day I got a "helis gone wild" DVD and saw a guy actually do it. Very impressive to say the least.
as soon as I get my first gyro to fly (hopefully in the next few weeks) I'm sure I 'll have some craziness to report about its first aerobatic crash.

Doug, so far I have done alot of cad drawings for my machine, though having no gyro experience. It is a mystery if it would even fly. it is planned for mainly light thin alum squate tubing construction , pusher engine, conventional tail (tail dragger config) and if it could be developed to handle the extra weight... maby a raptor canopy. I just saw the thread for the PT gyro tonight and will try to order one in a few minuites. I figure it might be a better way to learn.
