I am contemplating buying a Reflex XTR sim after reading all the good stuff about it, but before forking out I would like to know if my computer can hack it. I have a Pentium 4, 2.6 GHz, 512 Mb, and a Radeon 9200 graphic card. My screen is 1280x1024, running at 70 Hz. I am not a gamer, so I don't know what to expect. I am very keen on realism though ( who isn't....).Anybody care to make a forecast?
Max.

Your system is fine but I don't think your graphics card will handel it. I'd recomend upgrading to something like a Geforce 6600GT AGP card.
They recomend a Geforce 5900 or Radeon 9700 but it says a 32mb card minimum. The 6600GT is a very good card, better than their recomended ones but it's going to tack another $200 just to play one sim. You can try it with your 9200 but you'll need to turn the realism down so it doesn't look like a slide show.

Requirements say Radeon 9600 will work fine. You can pick one of those up for about $100 or less. We just released this new version of RealFlight. Check out these screen shots

max z, I would get the sim first since ur CPU can definitely handle it, (mine is 1GHz)
Then, if your graphics card doesnt work well at the resolution you need, spring for
a new one. Else if ur happy with the lower resolution, you've saved urself some
money. I run at 800x600 on my pc and it doesnt take away from the experience
much. Perhaps away in the distance, it would be easier with a higher res but the
difference isn't that much.
