Could be adding or subtracting weight could you make your plane fly better?

Not sure what you're asking but certainly weight makes a difference. Maybe heavier would be better, maybe lighter. It depends on the type of plane and the conditions you're flying in.

Does airfoil make a big differnce on the speed at wich your plane will preform well on. Does weight help in a fast plane?

- yes
- not necessarily, for example, pylon, F5B, etc.

Ther is nothing you want to have that adding weight will gioe you exept

- a model that doesn't get bounced by gusts (more inertia)
- a decent CG position (if you built tail heavy)

In all other respects weight is the enemy of powered flight. Period.

Sailplanes add weight to increase glide speed in windy conditions. But if you have an engine, =using teh trottle is a better alternative.
