Guys,

I've just done a rough trial assembly of the new vac-formed body I'm working on, still a way to go, but I'm pretty pleased with the way its looking so far.

Just wanted to share ....

This is the "simple" set up, using the standard skids and tail boom - so its not very scale - but is pretty quick to mount. I would like to go on to make a more accurate wheeled landing gear, and a lifted tail.

Lots more detailing to do yet, I've got some panel and screen lines in the plugs now, and of course there are wings to add - you should be able to see the wing roots in the photo. There will be some intake covers and exhaust pipes, and maybe a gun or two

So what do you think ??

Hi, Mark

Very great work! But, the length of the tail seems insufficient for installing
a high-mouted tail rotor. Anyway I appreciate your original work
very much.
There is another work by Mr. Andre in France using a 1/35 plastic model of Trumpeter
Model:

Thanks for the kind words - I think it is the angle of the photo, but I designed it to work for low and high tail positions - here is a photo with the tail rotor in the correct scale position (and side).

I think it is good and clear, but I had to try it to convince myself :D

I will be working on a proper mounting method for this high position next.
