bolt box?

Can someone guide me to the construction of a bolt box spar system. I may be calling it the wrong thing. But would appreciate a construction link.

Also need to learn the whys wherefores and how tos of reinenforcing spars and other areas with carbon fiber.

The Houston Hawk Project thread has some good shots of a pre preg CF reinforced built in spar.

My Bot Thread has shots of a CF tape reinforced spar and using a Bolt Beam system for attaching the wing.

Yes! It was yours I saw I want to know more detail on how your system went together. Would you be kind enough to sketch it by hand showing basically whats involved and scan it and send it to me at mitchellmichaelh@att.net?

Is there actually a bolt involved? I can see the beam part. I think yours was the one where you cut a horizontal slot in some ribs but I couldnt tell how many or even guess at dimensions.

Thanks. Now I can start my scratch built BOT though with all that cutting thinking about asking for kit for Christmas. Whatcha think?

By the way I have just completed the fuse on my 3/4 BOT, Looks neat but now wing seems huge!
