Hi,
A friend of mine want to build a wing for an F5F glider.
We don't want to make a mould yet, and believe that we can handle the vac. bag technique pretty good.
BUT...
Can anybody tell us how the layup should be (how much cloth, weight, mainspar etc.)
We could of course make 5-10 wings and get to the optimum by experiment, but we would rather start experimenting from somebody elses succes
We want to start with a design that is pretty close to a scaled up DLG wing, and with the strength to handle F5F flying:
span around 2 meters (78 inches)
airfoil AG 455 - 47 series (thin!)
TIA
cheers
