80% Bot

Just started building my 80% BOT from scaled down plans. If anyone has an interest I will post photos as major compomants are finished.

Why 80% ? I cant get full sized into car. If I like the smaller version I will build full BOT.

You'll like the little one. But, you might as well go ahead and start shopping for a full size vehicle to carry the full size BoT that you are going to have to build.

By all means, post the build.

Must be a very tiny car. BoT's can be built with three section wings. Would fit in an old VW then.

actually its a pickup truck with no topper. Guess I could save my pennies (few and far between) and get a topper.

You can make a carry box for your plane and put it in the back of the truck. It would not cost very much to make. You can make out of thin luaun plywood or the coroplast plastic sheet. If you do that you can build any size plane you want.

I used a pick up for season,
used clear plastic sheeting duct taped to side of bed (to outside). three cut off dowes about 3/4" dia for posts down center with tennis balls on the tops so they wouldnt poke through the tarp.

When I finnaly got my canapy the duct tape goop came off with goof-off typ cleaner.
