Well,
For those of you lucky enough to get in on this years run of SuperHawks, here is the batch fully assembled before packing and shipping (sometime this week!). The SuperHawk has all the beauty of the original with much better handling and performance. (10 foot wings, 11" longer fuse, 38% larger rudder, modern airfoil, carbon fiber here and there etc...)
Tony (the builder) does an awesome job on a very complex project. As you might notice all these SuperHawks have the spoiler optional wings with the SD-7037 (thermal) airfoil except one, which has the RG-15 (more slope) airfoil and no spoiler option. I guess that means that all you guys are flat lander's like me! Each SuperHawk takes approx 28 hours to get to the almost-ready-to-cover stage, where it is then shipped out to be completed by the lucky winner...er, a... buyer.
Anyway, hat's off to my buddy Tony for giving us a plane that far surpasses the original. By the way, Hobie Alter has flown one and is not only very impressed with the project, but blessed it as well... kinda cool!
Here are the dirty dozen for this year and a photo of my flyer:

Oh, here is the SuperHawk page on my Hobie Hawk website:
