Ok Ive been reading around a little and keep running into info that tells me that a synthesized TX will not work with the Berg DSP RX..Is this so?
I have a plantraco DSP that works with it (although I have not flown it yet) and was just wondering about the Berg..

All my Berg 4's and 5's work fine with Hitec Spectra and Evo Synth modules. There have been posts about issues with the Futaba synth module but I don't own a Futaba TX so I can't comment on that.

problem is only with the futaba synthesizer-equipped transmitters.
there are now two fixes known for the futaba transmitters so that they will work correctly.

I have both a Hi Tech Prism and Eclipse both with Spectra Module. The Eclipse is 4 months old and works with all receivers to date. The Prism ( 7 years old)never worked with Great Planes Electri Receivers or some of the Bergs.
The difference is in the Spectra modules since all receivers will work with the Prism if I use the Eclipse module in it. Both modules have the same model number on them.
I emailed Hi Tech about this and never got a reply. I also emailed and called Great Planes and never got an answer. Great Planes swaped out two receivers and crystals for me but never had a clue that the would not work with the older Hi Tech modules.

I have a Optic 6 w/Spectra Mod and it works great with my Berg microstamp Rx.
