I'm looking at buying a Raptor 50 V2 and am interested to know how
much weight it will lift.
I am hoping to progress to taking arial photo's and it needs to be
able to lift the camera.

If you don't need to hover at altitude, you can pretty much haul anything
that you can lift an inch off the ground. Hover out of ground effect is a
different story. It depends on altitude, pressure, temperature, and even
humidity but not so much. Winds aloft will make a difference, as will fuel
nitro content and needle richness. And don't forget blade profile and head
speed. It's a damned impossible question to answer. OTOH, if all you want to
know is if you can haul your 2 lb mini-DV camcorder: yes, quite easily.

I am using my Raptor 50 for camera ship with no problem.
It has no problem lifting my mini-DV or my Fuji s601 digital camera.
