Isthmus Model Co. is proud to announce the Sona DLG. Sporting the typical Ukranian construction methods which gives high strength at a low weight. The Sona has a Kevlar and carbon pod and slip on nosecone with a carbon boom. The horizontal stabiliser is attached to a perch on the tail boom and is removeable for easy transport. Rudder is attached to a slot in the tail boom. The wing as a carbon D-tube sheath and has a carbon capped built up spar with balsa shear webs wrapped in Kevlar thread for maximum strength. The ribs are capped with carbon strips. The wing is the ultimate in ease of transport being two pieces with an aluminum joiner tube. It also has a 7% MH32 airfoil for maximum performance.
