I am working on a ff conversion of the R/N models baby boomer. It is a 32" span model and I will be using the GWS IPS with the S2 gearing and a 7060 prop.

Should I incorporate any down or side thrust? Currently I have it at neutral, following the line of the tail booms and with no side thrust.

Thanks!

My twin-boom pushers with the motor more or less in line with the wing have no thrust offsets.

Update: This airplane flies great the with IPS pusher and no thrust offsets. Thanks!

Depends on the thrust line in relation to the center line. If the thrust line is above the center line, then UP thrust will be required, but if its bang on the center line i would say neither up/down/or side thrust was wrong. I may be wrong, usually am ! ! Ray
