View Full Version : Surface Mount transistor equivalent for BF245 jFET

Can anyone suggest an equivalent for a BF245 transistor. My Rx pcb is 98% smt so I don't really want to use coventional if I can help it.

Take a look at the MMBF4393. Specs looks similar. It might work for you.

The MMBF4393 would probably work, but it is designed for switching. I would look at the MMBF4416A. It is designed as an RF amp and is "sourced from process 50" like the fairchild BF245 which I think means it is basically the same part.
