AMAZING!
Today I took my raptor .30 with OS .37 out for the second time since I bought it and decided I was going to try some 3d stuff. I've done it in simulators and figured lemme give it a shot.
I've done a few stall turns with it the first time out. Today however was different. I went up like a stall turn and on a whim decided that I was gonna try some Tic Tocs. They were decent, the .37 doesn't have the power needed like a .60 or bigger to do really nice tic tocs. However I then slowly grew the courage to flip it over and hover inverted a bit. Did some more crazy stuff and started soing tumbles and loops. Called it a day for a little while until I went to the hobby shop to buy some fuel and one of the workers was gonna go fly his Evo 50. I went and then decided that I was gonna fly some more. He thought I was gonna crash several times. I did a reverse loop, then flipped it and lost control a bit and it came flying above us and he ducked for cover and I looked up at it about to hit a tree. EEK! Luckily I didn't panic and I brought the heli completely vertical and slammed the collective away and brought it back to a "Safe" area. He was laughing maniacally from that experience. But I must say for a stock raptor with some strong Digital Servos and .37 OS he was impressed at how agile the heli was stock paddles and all, since he's been flying for over 10 years. HELI'S ARE GREAT!
