I had been taping in the motor shaft and it works great but I've removed it about 4 times trying different motors and finallly tore up the EPP by the nose.
A buddy bought some nylon tube from the hardware store.
It is embedded in the nose, the cd motor shaft slide in and a set screw tightens to hold it in.

I'd like to try one of these without the Tee down the center.
Instead a carbon rod and have the ailerons real close to the fuse.
Needs to aileron on a dime in hover for true hover control.

My aileron horns are behind the hinge groove and don't have much throw so maybe the Tee isn't hurting aileron control that much.

The next plane will have the hinge cuts on top of the wing so the aileron servo can be on the bottom while the horn sits right next to the hinge line.
