OK - so my new WW E-Zipper is tail heavy (that's what I get for using a 3S Kokam 2000 pack!) and I needed 1.5oz added to the nose to get the performance I'm looking for - WIthout the weight my CG is at 7" from the nose - It did fly but the added weight turned it into a very stable, fast and vertical flying machine!
Here's what I need to know - the WW's use a ClamShell motor mount that allow you to shift the motor a little to change the CG. If I move the motor further back, can I add less weight to the front and get the same effect?
Thanks!

I would think that by shifting the motor back farther, the focal point of weight in relation to how it is distributed over the wings total area would also shift back, and if that's the case, you would either need more wing area, or more weight in the nose of the existing wing. (but I still don't quite understand why a noseheavy plane pulls up out of a dive, so don't take my word for it)

before you move anythnig tape a coin to the centre section at the root at the trailing edge and see if it changes if it does then use the appropaite amount of lead buried into the wing and taped over this is how I tweek my planks and wings it should tuck under in a dive if it tail heavy and it noses up out of a dive if its nose heavy it should just hold the dive if the CG is spot on

Flyin' - My understanding of "self-correcting" wings that pull up in a drive - Being nose-heavy the wing has added reflex to force it to fly level but in a dive this added reflex is "up" and pulls out of the dive.
I've got the weight I need figured out - I'm just trying to avoid adding it!

Here is some info in the wing build thread. It's a good way for all wings.
