ok, here's another one: how do you enter/exit a flat spin?

Slow way down by slowly applying increasing elevator. Use as little throttle as you can. At the edge of stall, kick the rudder over hard and hold full rudder and up elevator. If your CG is too far forward, it still may not spin--rear CG is much better. To get out, center the controls and add power. You may have to add down elevaror. Allow the speed to build while nose-low. Recover as from a dive.

On the models I've had that will do it, normal spin entry (as posted above) then slowly apply full opposite aileron to flatten the spin. Normal spin recovery (for a model) of everything to neutral, takes a little longer to come out than a normal spin as the rate of rotation is higher. For real fun, once in the flat spin start feeding in power .. with my IC fun-flys the descent rate is virtually zero (I believe some models will actually go UP like this) :D
