Was at the field by myself. 1st flight ended with a landing that was not that great since I ran out of field at the weeds stopped the plane. So I decided to practice landings. The first few were good but the next.......
Was flying low and on low throttle. Banked right and didn't give much up elevator because I didn't want to come in too high (there is a cornfield you have to come over, corn is about 8 to 10 feet high). Well I banked it too sharp and it sorta stalled ab about 50 feet up or so. Tried full throttle but plane got twisty and went in. This is the 2nd time that has happened. First time I cut throttle in middle of banked turn. I seem to have some trouble with right hand turns.
RX, servos etc. are all okay. Plane is toast though and looks like I will have to take apart engine for some cleaning.

Yes, crashing is a real downer!!!! The Arrow was my 1st fuel engined plane.
I've crashed before but they were all foamie electrics that were easy to fix up.
Kinda makes you gun shy. I have a new Tiger 2 that has a OS .46 in it that needs to be maidened.

My father broke his Telemaster into many smaller pieces than that several times and re-built it every time. Heck, the last time, every major component of the plane was separated, and he still plans to rebuild it over the winter. But with an ARF like that arrow, I wouldn't bother. So, whatcha going to put the radio gear and engine into?
