Was a sweet flyer....It went straight down into the road, just 20-30 feet from a busy four lane. The motor/ESC survived, RX needs to be checked and the lipo caught fire a few weeks later after I continued to use it..(STUPID ME! )

Had that happen to me 3 years ago.

The day before, I had a "bad landing" which put my plane into the flight-line fence.

Not too bad, just a bit of damage of the right wing-tip (or so I thought).

Took it home, repaired the damage (or so I thought). Returned the next day.

The plane flew just fine. Upon preparing for the landing, I flared (about a foot off the runway) and SCHMAKKKK, the wings folded.

Luckily, I didn't try any stressfull maneuvers in the air!!! The plane landed with an NBA bounce, with no further damage.

Moral: when your plane is damaged, make sure you check out everything.
