We are curently in the design process of creating a CNC machine aimed specifically at the hobby market and therefore low (very low) price compared to the standard CNC machines. The design group is eager to dive into creating the drawings and getting going but we need some info. Perhaps someone could give us what specs you would be looking for in a CNC cutter (that most likely uses a dremel or similar tool for cutting). If you could give us details such as: price willing to pay, size required, materials able to cut, cutting speeds, precision, etc...
We would highly appreciate any input we can get on this at: CNC_group@hotmail.com
and perhaps you'll be able to get one of these at you lokal Home Depot or Lowe's in a few months....;)
Thanks for all help!
