I have something to add to this new forum. On aug 22 / 2004 i crashed my newely finnished sig fazer. I havnt flow in 4 years and was a little nervous about flying this type of aircraft but i had almost finished it. So anyway the first 5 flights on aug21 went great got my confidence back and then some. Of course the next day i brought my dad out and started doing tight in aerobatics. Everything was fine when i came in low and slow, hammered the throtle and went vetical into a lumchvak (no idea how to spell it) and then a spin. After recovering from the spin i meant to turn left but i went right. I got confused for a split second but that was enough since i was pretty low. I went into the ground, buy the time i noticed how low i was it was too late. Went in a a pretty good speed around 80 deg dive. I must say the flyin i did do i enjoyed the sig fazer it does hover great. It was a little heavy 5lbs and i only had a os .40 LA but it was good enough for me. I think thee next one a build i will put a os.46fx. I used to fly a ultra hots 4 years ago....it was way more crazy to fly though...

The reciever wasnt working but I found out the crystal was no good. Guess the crash killed it. (i asked about that on another fourm here thanks for the help)

Lesson Learned:

1) Dont start doing close in 3d stuff when you are still GREEN at flyin'

2) When doing vertical stuff near yourself the ground isn't in vision so you really have to be aware of you actualy height. When you do finnaly see it your too low!!! lol

3) Don't show of to my dad!!!!

Hey andy w i didnt see i way to attach attachments and though i need to do it that way. I will look to see how to do it. I pick insert attachment and ith comes up withh http://. SOrry about that...

Hogster, well i think it is more work than it is worth. I can get another kit for $86 Canadian, i will however keep alot of the parts for my new one, since i will be flying aggresive again. Hopefully i will not put another one in, but that is part of teh hobby pretty much. Of course if i had a nice scale aircraft i wouldnt fly that way!!

FF:

What was wrong with your receiver? My servos don't work well after I crashed mine but it could be due to the fact that it got wet.
