Hey,

Could someone who is accustomed to looking at these numbers tell me how this will fly: :D

This is a parkflyer, and these numbers below are based on an AUW estimated at 8.43 oz.
It'll be powered by a GWS LPS-RXC-C, producing 4.24 oz of thrust.

Wing Loading: 6.14 Oz per sq. ft.
Watts/oz 1.58

Thanks a ton! :D

Hey,

Watts/oz 1.58

Thanks a ton! :D
Is this your total watts? you need about 2 watts per oz. So you would need about 16 watts, I think you might be able to get away with a little less than that.

hey thanks, I have never actually done the "math" before. as it turns out, using the RXC-B will get me up to 2.09 watts per oz :)

I use thrust to weight ratio.

Your T/W is approx .5 which means in my opinion that it will fly quite well but don't expect it to be a hot dog!

hey, thanks!
I misjudged my weight, I estimated the balsa airframe way too high. I believe I'll be 2 oz under the previous estimates... it's been a long time since i've built a balsa airframe and I forgot how light they were!
