I think the closest you come to a decent RTR rc boat may be
the Bristol Bay by Hobbico.

Although in the UK, dealers seem to be offering something by Ripmax.

It impresses me as a bit more toy like, you cant be sure how upgradeable will be.

graupner do an RTR tug called "southampton", sometimes marketed under the hobby engine brand, cost about £270 but its worth it as it is a good boat.

thats about 400 euros
