Hello everyone, let me start by saying that I am coming back from a long absence in the RC boating world. I had an airboat powered by a .20 OS engine about 10 years ago, and have wanted to get back into it for a long time now. You know how it goes though, college, job, etc.... So now I am happy to say that I just ordered the Midwest Fantail Launch to get started. I'm going to order the little steam engine and radio gear a little later. I resisted the urge to go out and buy one of the big tugboat kits, didn't figure that would be a good way to start! So that will just have to come later. I wanted to say hello, and mention how excited I am to have found this group, happy boating!

Welcome :D Not much has changed in the time. but one essential addition to your modelling equipment is a digital camera/scanner ;) We all like seeing each other's work. Have fun.
