Hi there,
I'm looking for some pointers on where to start with developing an rc switch for my sony cybershot camera.
I've opened it up & both the shutter & power buttons are connected to the main board with a ribbon cable that has six traces on it.
I've attached a rather fuzzy pic of the switch removed from the camera for reference.
I've contacted a custom cable manufacturer to make a breakout ribbon cable that will le me connect to the cam.
Ideally I'd like a pic based solution that would allow me to take pictures either on full scale deflection of the channel or alternatively at a fixed interval or on a given digital input.
Perhaps i could retrofit an existing rc switch to the cam but I'm not sure as to whats required in activating the shutter etc.
Any pointers appreciated.
