Hiya,

I'm in Berkshire.....

I know about Euro and Asia models in Maidenhead and Apex models in
Crowthorne and I know there's a shop in Windsor, but I'm looking for an
online shop with a good variety of Tamiya kits if you know one?

Apex sell on line :) You won't find much significant variation on Tamiya
prices between on line and in the shop anywhere in UK. Try ebay:

You could also try talking to the guy who runs www.lightwatermodels.com who
has supplied me at very good prices. He also sells on ebay:
