i have a bike computer that give the speed of your bike with a magnet on the wheel in front of a sensor.
i have just the computer and i want to use it as a wind meter. :)
any ideas :confused:

i think to try a small prop with a tiny magnet on it,and a reed relay?

How about using a electric motor as a generator?

Sorry, forgot you wanted to use that bike meter. In that case there is not much choice.
