Hi everybody,

After some more design changes, the J-47 "Eliminator 2" sport jet plugs are now being constructed. (Kits should be available by the end of the year.) If you want to follow along, the article is at http://www.nextcraft.com/j47_sportjet01.html

This one is designed to be flown with standard radio, retracts, and engines, but also allows for "gadgets", including flaps and leading edge flaps, for the more ambitious types.

We'll be attending the Jet Meet at Triple Tree this Saturday, ( http://www.joenall.com/#jets ) and will be bringing the plugs for the J-47 along, so if you'd like to see it, join us there.

After the meet, we're only a week or so from making molds. It's looking good!

We're making molds!

As of 11-04-04, we've got the stabiliator mold, vertical fin/dorsal mold, NACA inlet mold, and canopy mold done. ( images attached ) Fuselage mold is next, and should be done within the next week or so. Everything is going well...No problems, and we can't wait to get this baby in the air. Excuse the sloppy appearance in these photos. The plugs were just pulled, and they still need to be more neatly trimmed, and all the wax and PVA cleaned off. We'll clean 'em up tomorrow.
