Hi all. I am building a tug of my own design. It's 45" long, and I
need a pair of 4"props for it. I was told of a company called "Prop
Shop" that makes a full line of cast brass propellers for model boats.
Not tho ones with the blades soldered onto the hub, but full cast
propellers like the real ones. Anyone know how to contact these guys?
Do they have web site?? Thanks!!

Harbor Models cast me a Kort nozzle prop 5.4" diameter for a 1:24
scale tug. If you could find a stock one, it'd be a lot more
reasonable than one-off.

I think the one in the UK is the one the OP wants:
http://www.britnett.net/propshop/index.html

The one that comes up on google that's in the U.S. has props,
but it doesn't look like it carries the nice scale props. -Wm

www.props4u.com
Mark Sholund I know has imported some Prop Shop props into the U.S.
Contact him through this web-site
also.......www prestwichmodels.com
This is Dave Marles in the U.K.He also handles Prop Shop props.
Simon Higgens is the owner of the Prop Shop and Dave will know how to get
ahold of him.The Prop Shop is also in the U.K.

Maybe you could contact the www.floatingdrydock.com they have a selection of props under MUCH MORE catagory. They have 3 3/4 inch props which should be more than enough to power your tug.

Hey, this is Tux again their props ( floating Drydock) are fully cast brass props like you are looking for. Twin props at 3 3/4 inch will give you so much power it will be unrealistic unless you are pushing something. I have 2 1/2 inch twin props on an eight foot Perry class frigate and it really moves. They also have both rotations which is important.
