Whats the difference between the different percentage Nitros? (5%, 10%, 15%,
25%)
And which is best for RC cars?

The higher the % of nitro the more power you get from the fuel.
The best % depends on the particular engine. 20% is good for "most"
engines.

Hey Slim -
"...which is best..." probably depends on the particular engine, but
Traxxas for instance only recommends that once you break an engine in on
a particular blend, stick with that blend through the life of that
engine until rebuild time. Their manual even mentions 30% as being o.k.
Other than that, yeah, as QUAKEnSHAKE says, more nitro, more power.
I'll only add, more nitro, more dollars!! 20% blend's going for $25 per
gallon in my neck of the woods.

thanks for the reply bert and quakenshake.
I asked cos the only local hobby shop only stocks 5% and says that anything
more will burn out the engine in a car!
I can get 20% but I have to travel up the country to get it (a friend is
going ther this weekend, so i could buy a couple gallons ;) )
so thanks for the info!

a lower percentage of nitro will not harm your engine. Get a quart of each
and see if you really need to travel that far for 20%. There will be a
difference, but if 5% is readily available, then develop a relationship with
the hobby shop owner, and maybe he'll start stocking 20%.
