Hi all, i have just managed to buy my first winch. So far all my glider experience have been with electric models and 2m ships from a highstart. i have been searching the forums for info on launch techniques, setup etc but i havnt been able to find any great sites etc. The winch i am getting is an older hollenbeck model with 400m 250 lb line and turnaround which i will use to launch an Eliminator 134, a Weston Magic and a RNR Genisis.
If any one has any links etc perhaps showing drawing of field setup and launch techniques, i would greatly appreciate them.better still does anyone know of any fliers in Northern Ireland who use a winch that you could put me in contact with.
