any one know how to make a rocket take off to gat a plane in the air?? :confused:

The thrust line needs to pass through the center of gravity of the plane even if the engine is at a downward pointed angle. You can also do something like my rocket plane. Here is the link. I did some testing of this back when I was doing RPV's for a company.

Flying Models magazine might have a plan for a small .19 powered rocket boosted design. The article was in the late 60s. Definitely had to have the thrust line pass through the CG. The plane used something like a C-6 sized motor. I think today you'd have to probably find a plugged engine, one without a parachute ejection charge. Insurance frowns on dropping parts.
