Hello! I have a 50" cracker box with a 26cc souped up homelite engine
at full throttle. sometimes it makes a 360 roll coming out of a turn, lands
on bottom and continues on. why?

Is there a turn fin installed on the boat???,having a turn fin installed will help hold the boat into the turns.Crackerboxes have a hard trip chine so they have a tendency to be predictable in the turns.

Which way is the boat rolling? Is the prop right or left hand pitch? I assume you are making a right hand turn when the boat rolls 360. Prop torque may be part of the cause. I have a 1/10 scale electric powered crackerbox, with a right hand pitch prop. Sometimes it will roll to the right 180 or 360 when making a tight right hand turn. I've found this is caused by prop torque.

Count yourself as a lucky one when it lands upright. The thing about C-boxes is that they are a drivers boat, not a point and shoot like the other ones. It is the design of the hull that makes them flip in corners when overdriving them. One thing about these boats, once you have them mastered you can consider yourself a great driver!

For a while i didnt know whether to take the c/box to the flying field or to the pond....

i run a turn fin off the right side of the transoms and have put trim tabs on the boat ...it will hop and skip but the rear turn fin grabs it and stops any tendancies for it to be an airshow star
