Allways believed it to be a MKII not knowing the difference between the original & the MKII. I thought the difference was an additional wing rib or two.
However, going over the plans again, It seems the original had dihedral and the MKII polyhedral - can anyone confirm this.
The issue is the cutoff date. Original was 1938 and the MKII 1939....
These photos are from when built in '85.
Engine PAW .19 weight 3lb 4oz 2channel - rudder and throttle.
I am currently stripping the covering and fixing some woodrot around the front end. Thinking of recovering with silk & dope - was covered in solartex.
