I thought some of you might enjoy this article from the May 1946 issue of Airtrails. It's a construction article on a "scale" control-line model of the Grumman Bearcat. It's interesting to note how the author speaks of the Bearcat in the present tense as it was still a very new fighter at that time.

There's a real fascination in browsing old mags and books. Aeromodelling is a lot easier nowadays...................
