I have an Airwolf fuselage from the moulds used to make the models for the movie. I intend using my xcell 60 mechanics but I want to get the body 100% before flying it.
I am looking for drawings of scale working retracts, I know it a tall order but if I don't ask... ...
While I am trying my luck .. .. any pic's of the guns would be nice as well as any pictures that can help me on my way to the finnished project.
I have been in touch with Tim Hickey who has been very helpfull.

I believe that Bob Hamilton flew a good percentage of the models for the series. 75% of the scenes showing the helicopter were models. I'll see if I can find his contact info, it's been a while since I've talked to him.

Friends of mine back in the late 80's or early 90's actually flew in the heli. It was doing a show, and weather forced them to land before arriving at the show. Landed on a friend farm - took them for a spin the next day when the weather cleared.

That is my model of the AirWolf next the fullsize and I took the picture. Bob Hamilton never flew any of the models for the series. He was going to work on the show when it went ot Canada but it fell through and used all stock footage. If you need some help with your Airwolf I can help. Regards Larry Jolly

Hello Larry, You probably won't remember, I met you when you were in South Africa to fly in the Cross-country champs. you flew a comet. I was a very young & was helping my father who was flying a saggitta.
If you can help, I am looking for some form of drawings of the retractable undercarriage so I can make something up.
Without being too cheeky, I would like to get hold of as much detailing of Airwolf to be able to do it right. The Airwolf I have is apparently from the moulds that you would have made or used in producing the models for the show.

I look forward to hearing from you
