After a series of tests (made much easier by using the Phx-Link!) I believe I've confirmed that updating the software on my Phoenix 35 has clobbered governor mode. I'm running a Mega 16/15/3 on an Eolo heli using an 8-cell GP3300 battery with the following settings:
Cutoff: 5v
Cutoff type: soft
Brake: Disabled
Throttle: Fixed or High Governor
Soft start: Softest
Timing: Standard
Cur. Lim: Insensitive
PWM: 11khz
I believe this is an older P35. It has a 3x6 matrix on the bottom, with only 4 of the 6 rows populated.
Before updating the software, and my first use of the Phx-Link, governor mode (high) was working fine with my Mega. Now, I can't acheive sufficient rpm to lift-off. Reset the Throttle to "Fixed," and everything is fine.
In the process of playing with this, I had to set my throttle end point adjustment on my RD8000 to 75% to get full throttle at full stick throw on the transmitter. Works fine in fixed throttle. In governor mode, I tried the end point adjustment at 75% and 100% and the result was the same - insufficient rpm.
Have I missed something, or is this a bug of some kind.
