Hello group,

Has anyone ever tried riding the lift originating from a free fall simulator (one of these giant fans for people to practice the free fall phase of a parachute jump).

I imagine it must be very turbulent, but worth a try!

my guess is that a slope plane would be better for that since the speed of the wind is 120+mph. also arent they a bit pricy to rent time in??

I thought of flying above it while someone was having fun "free falling in place" in the simulator.

Regarding airspeed, IŽd say it drops considerably with altitude...

if my memory serves those things are just a verticle wind tunnel, you could probly get a plane to fly straight down if it had enough penetration
