Hi ! I have flown abit before, but I would like to start out with sim, but I do not want to pay for a "transmitter" if I can use my ecplise 7.

First of all, does it support it? Or is it just the matter of connecting the trainer outlet to my pc...?

I have found a place where I can by a lead for this, but I cant find any info on how to then set up the ecplise and so on.

If someone could enlighten me on this topic it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Steffen

There are several interfaces available on the market that will work 100% with the Eclipce. It depends on what simulator/s you will be using, as well as your operating system.

Here are a list of several types of interfaces:
- FMS Parallel Interface (Printer port). Works only on FMS, and with Win95/98.
- FMS Serial PIC Interface. Works only with FMS, Any Windows, except NT.
- Joystick interfaces. Any simulator, Any Windows, except NT
- USB Interfaces. Any simulator, Win98/ME/2000/XP

Have a look on my web (http://myweb.absa.co.za/eric.brouwer/index.htm) for more information.
