Well, here it is. Im going to be painting it up soon and mounting it. The tailfin is molded with the tailboom. How does it look ? This will probably be it for a while until project X is completed.

I love that heli - and that body looks perfect for my Corona.

Just give me time to explain to the family that we need to sell more furniture and skip some meals :D

Great work (again) Darth - I think this is the best yet.

Mark,

So you'll be needing another set of navigation lights then to complete your A109 :) (or would you need to sell the wife and kids first :) :) )

Final production model of the Corona agusta 109 and the zoom 109 (two different size bodies) will have a molded drive shaft cover on the tailboom which isnt present in the photos. Still just a little more work. I thought about not doing it then i thought about the different Chassis that may benefit from the little extra room for adjustments.
Think this looks awesome---Wait until you see project X. I have pics and its torture for me trying to hold out not posting But I agreed with Matt that we will wait until certain key parts are completed. This hurts. It will be the ultimate in the Corona (???)experience. This project will not be for the beginner or even novice flyer. The average build portion of project X fuselage will take about 4-5 hours for those with some building experience. I can assemble a fuse in about 2-3 hours, mabey a little less. It will be fun.
If you are wondering about the (???) its because not much of the original Corona is on this machine. I dont know what matt is planning to offer with the Chassis part but all the upgrades i do think would be highly recommended. Battery pack preference will most likely be Lipo packs.
This project has me walking around with a perpetual grin on my face. I hope the folks dont come looking for me with the truck that has the nice cushy insides.

This is a corona fuse. What's to small about it?

I was asking because I sent Darth a mockup of the concept chasis and was just wondering how well it may fit. I managed to squeeze the EP into his 222 body and was wondering if the same thing would work.

Its about the same size as the Bell222. With some tail modification for the gearbox it should fit.

Dear darthdrk

Very great job! I think that the outline of your Agusta 109 fuselage is
very close to the fullsize heli.
But, there are 2 Agusta fuselages in the middle of this page.(ul 07, 2004, 09:23 AM)
The same fuselages? I prefer the yellow one.

The yellow fuse is for the Corona, the other fuse is for the Zoom400, two different size fuses.

Thank you, darthdrk.
The Corona 109 is superb!
When can I buy one?

LMH1200 and Robbe Eolo have almost the same size
(76 cm dia:81 cm dia, 1250g: 1280g). So the Corona 109
may also fits to Robbe Eolo.

If possible, I want to see a picture of LMH109 from the straight front.

Thank you very much! Very good!
The outline of your LMH109 is the closest to the fullsize Agusta109 Power
in the many models, in particular, the front part, I think.
I cannot wait.

Hey Darth,

I'll be picking up a Zoom soon, and i'm very intrested in the Agusta fuse. Can you let me/us know when we/i might be able to place an order?, and when they might be ready?

PS, really great work your doing :D

If the dimensions of the fuselage match the frame of Gensmantel's

Heaven, one might be able to install the Gensmantel 4 rotor head.
