I am a total newbie to planes. All my experience is in RC Electric boats. I bought realflight G2 the full version and now have it set up and ready to go. Can anyone give me any suggestions as to setup or what planes I should start with?

Sorry Jim, we maybe don't understand what you need. What sort of setup information would you like ? If you're intending to learn to fly real RC planes it would obviously help to choose one similar to your real planes. Have you decided on your first plane yet ? E.g. do you know if you will be going with gliders (Spirit etc) , IC power (PT40 etc) or slow fly electrics (BLT) ? Or perhaps helicopters ?
Just try them and see which ones you enjoy. You can't do any damage.

I guess mainly what I was looking for was what plane in the sim would be good for a beginner. Probably will be a e-flight asscent for the first plane a friend reccomended that but I want to get used to the sim first to try to cut down on crashes.

Jim,
The PT 40 is a good powered plane to start with. It is a flat bottomed high wing trainer type aircraft very similar to the type that many people that start with IC planes learn on.

Ditto the PT 40. It is what I used when learning to fly. But don't be afraid to try other planes too. After many hours on Realflight, I was able to solo my Soarstar the first time out.

Also try the Space Walker. A little more fun than the PT40.
