I was browsing through a local rubber outlet last week and seen a small gauge rubber that i thought may be the go for a larger plane histart (2.5 up to about 3.5m)
The rubber was solid black, and about 8mm thick and looked like it would be very good for the purpose.
Anyone tried it. It was at clarkerubber in Australia.
A bit expensive though AUD$6.90/meter.

I am in the US, so I can't help with experience. Here is what I would ask:

Is it solid rubber? Hollow tube? Latex? Some other material?

How thick? Outside dimmension.

Portfoxdesign, what is the plane in your avitar? I haven't seen it before and was curious. Of course throw in all the details if you don't mind.

Yes, what is that plane exactly?
I am guessing it might be a Boomerang?
