Looking for Information Regarding the Traxxas Revo Release date

I want to know if any hobby stores have received shipments of the
Traxxas Revo and if they've begun selling them. Any Info regarding
use, performance, or where to buy it would be great. Otherwise A
release date would be wonderful also.

My Horizon rep told me they would be getting them next week and then they
would start shipping them to dealers accordingly.

AFAIK there are none in stores for sale, although there have been
sightings in large stores/tracks where Traxxas' driver and/or dealer
support team was doing demos.

Those were either prototypes or early production models.

I would imagine they will be in short supply for a while. Those of us
that pre-ordered months ago will likely have them in a couple of weeks.
If you're not already on a waiting list I think you'll be a long time
getting one...

The official release date was "late June". Obviously that date has
passed. The official word from Traxxas' phone support today was that
the first small batch of Revo are in the country (probably the west
coast since their assembly factory is in Taiwan). They'd still have to
get to Traxxas in Tx and from there to the distributors.



BTW, to help finance my Revo (and the rebuilding of two airplanes I
wrecked last weekend) I'm selling off my barely-used Losi Mini-T for
cheeep: http://www.mousetrap.net/~mouse/images/ebay/mini-t/ I'll list
it on eBay later this weekend if no one here wants it.
