Just thought I would post a couple photos of the new wing for my Tingle slope racer.

3 tapers per side at 1.5metres, MG06 airfoil, carbon and glass with live hinges.

Now only 100 or so projects to go.

Very nice! The multiple tapers make the wing look quite sleek.

Are you using Phil Barnes-like methods with carbon/S-glass cloth?

This wing uses woven carbon cloth on a 45 degree bias with a layer of light glass over it to fill the carbon weave.

I glued some cabon laminates into slits I cut into the top and bottom surface to stiffen it up a bit.

I believe Phil uses 80/20 uni on his wings with a carbon tube as a spar.
